Don't get too excited by his tweet: just pulled a number of tickets in the 100 level for tonight's show (I'm in already for both shows, so didn't purchase them). Standing tickets were dropped yesterday, too. Boxscore reported the 2015 shows at the O2 as being 97% sold, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the same again this time around.
Still, to sell around 17,000 tickets for each O2 show then another 12,000 or so for Wembley on Friday is good going.

I don't suppose they crawled out of their own arse enough to play any Don't Look Back In Anger did they? You know like everybody else is doing as a sign of solidarity after a cunt bombed a venue with children in it. Nope, far more important Brian has a wank in public in the air. [/QUOTE]
That was an horrific chapter in the history of Manchester. Any one with any sense of compassion will never forget that day, especially if you're working in or visiting that arena.
That song unfortunately is crap music by numbers, written, performed and recorded by a third rate garage band. Also why play it and dwell on the past in public, any act of terrorism will be seen as successful by any group aligning themselves to it if people keep reliving it in any way.
As for you comment about Brian May. . . . No different to you shitting in public continually is it?
Regardless of your opinion the song has been played as a togetherness thing, so your points are wildly off the mark. Metallica can do it, why not Queen?
They don't seem to be able to do any harm in your eyes.
The drum battle and guitar solo is tedious rubbish. Dated crap. Nobody cares. Use the time to play IL or SYW or SHA.
Still tickets on Seat Wave for tomorrow

That's one of the better ones of those I've seen. They write those for every show on at the O2 - somebody's good at Googling!

I am taken aback that there was no word about the attack at all by Brian, Roger or AL during the show.
Definitely a full house at the London O2 today!

A full house? I had 20 empty seats in my block alone. But seemed fuller than the 2015 shows. GA was packed.
Performance: good. Roger somehow got ny with AKOM despite being hoarse when speaking. Brian didn't sing much of LOML for the same reason.
For most of it it seemed like I'd gone back a couple of years - there really isn't much new on this tour, as I'd suspected from YT clips and the audience recordings. Frank graphics are good but don't exactly last long, the AKOM reproductions of the band are probably the highlight. Those red dildo things in GDML and the irritating way the director puts effects/filters/black and white on the screen feed are all pointless.
Brian's solo was the go-to toilet break once again.
“?? @QueenWillRock & @adamlambert music & production was over the top. Even @MercuryMOTG & John Deacon made a few appearances during the show. @DrBrianMay running up & down the stage, hard to believe he is 70 years old. Lambert's vocals r incredible & doesn't try to be Freddie.”
When u play as a band in your hometown, u must suprise them, this was nothing... All the same..
“just had one of the best phone calls from my mum leaving the O2 in tears of happiness after seeing queen and adam lambert for the first time and hearing the crowd in the tube station singing don't stop me now. ????”
“We were rocked, thanks Queen + Adam Lambert, simply superb at the O2!!!!”
“@AdamLambert + @QueenWillRock - F***ING ICONIC ??????
#adamlambert #queen #london”
“Thank You Queen and Adam Lambert for such a lovely/emotional concert! ??????”
