They BEGAN their show in daylight when i went (Hollywood bowl 7/3; me thinks)

Just be really enough to get through whatever turnstiles and purchase whatever else u want prior. I grabbed a large brew and snack before off Hollywood Blvd.

Yes, but that was down to volume/ curfew restrictions. Most European/Uk arena shows begin at 8 or soon after.

I agree turn up early, especially if you're standing!
