Small hungarian rhapsody secret

I currently working on uncut version of budapest 86 concert and while editing i want to break free i notice a strange very quick flash in end of song while changing angle to guitar solo. While looking on this part i found something what surprise me. There apear for 1 milisecond picture of unfinished magic tour stage. Im not sure if this stage pic is from budapest. Can anyone know where it was taken? Im kinda wondering why they put this pic in it

Speculation: could be from tour rehearsal, but why it's there ...?

Maybe is from the theater where queen before magic tour rehearsal? The one rehearsal which was on wembley dvd? But why its there? So many questions :)

The only reason I can see is to make the last chord more effective/explosive on the screen but I'm not sure. Pretty odd.

It reminds me of the Disney films where there is a single frame that says "sex" or something. Wasn't that in the Lion King?

Considering the Budapest film was a Hungarian government operation, one would think the frame comes from a day or two earlier in Budapest when they were setting up the stage - but there is a low hanging ceiling, which means the footage is clearly a rehearsal space. Who knows how it got in there. Maybe it was an act of rebellion, just for someone to prove (to themselves?) that the entire film wasn't done by the government?

The two screenshots also point out what a travesty it is that this footage was cropped for the release a few years back.

I remember finding this back in VHS days - basically I'd pause on every camera flash on all the concert tapes I had to see what was revealed. This one was odd - although back in those days I couldn't see that it's not from the gig!

Perhaps they taped over something else? Even analogue editing you'd need to do that on purpose (I could understand why something like that would end up erroneously in a digital timeline.

I think I agree with the above. That last flash didn't quite have the Daaaa! visually so they chucked that in in place of pyrotechnics.

Are you thinking of The Rescuers? That has a naked porn lady at a window in a chase scene in some releases.

Looks like building to me. However a long time ago i heard rumours that i want to break free was supposed to be cutt of in official version because Communists have some problems with this song is that true?

Think it actually says 'sfx' which was the name of the special effects company.
