Since the version from Live KIllers is one of my favourite renditions from SYW, I really would like to know from which show it is from.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I suspect maybe partly from Frankfurt 1979

Try www.queenlive.ca for a full analysis on the Live Killers album. No answer on the origins of Spread Your Wings, though.

I also think this version is The best, better than the album version too.

Would love a Live Killers Box set done properly including a live DVD and B/Ray

I thinks it's from Bremen 1979. Like Brighton Rock.

Can't recall where the info is from

It's not from Bremen 1979.
Brian six days later in Brussels (after SYW): "Somehow you make a good noise here, people. You're great. I think I should tell you an interesting fact. We're thinking of making a live album, and this is the first night we've ever recorded for a live album, so I hope you make a nice little noise, as you are."

I think it's from Montreux 1979. Live at the Mountain Studios. :)

Are there any overdubs to speak of? With others songs on Live Killers it's easier to hear, but on SYW I don't hear any edits at all (the exception of course is that Roger's mic was muted during the choruses).

Hopefully we'll get all the details. Just wish we could have a King Crimson style 20 disc plus box set of every live killers show. In me dreams!
