Announce- Budapest Rhapsody 1986 (uncut concert)

Queen - Budapest Rhapsody 1986 - Marlamir Uncut Version Budapest concert from 1986 is propably my most favourite one but sadly the rellease is cutted. so i took all possible footages and make this concert complete. enough talk and move to facts instead. Original 2012 rellease lenght: 1hr: 30min (With queen members in budapest footages) Marlamir Uncut Version Lenght: 1hr: 49 min (Without members in budapest footages) features: New Better intro New audio and video mix 2 new angles Audio sources: Hungarian rhap. 2012 cd 16 cameras audio Hungarian rhap. 2012 dvd Magic years docummentary Video Sources: Hungarian rhapsody 2012 dvd 16 cameras version (snow prod.) magic years docummentary Channel 4 tv report kind of magic(highlander version from off. queen romania) 16 Cameras speed was correctly slowed down. While the thanks are in order, the majority of the footage used in this project comes from officially released material so I think that this share breaks the founding and the oldest rule of Queenzone and thus should be removed.

Don't get me wrong. It's like with Chief Mouse's grand project with Rock Montreal and colour correction. It is great and inspiring thing to do but the base for the project is an officially released material. If I'm correct, the unspoken law between QZ and Queen is that we can share here whatever demos, convention recordings, fan mixes, bootlegs, tapes we want as long as it's not (even slightly modified) officially released material.

We ALL have the official stuff anyway, even sometimes in different versions or mixes and anyone who is not interested in Queen wouldn't be on this forum and would not even think about downloading it. Even if they did, I don't think the whole planet is constantly watching what is up every day on Queenzone forum impatiently waiting for official stuff to download and illegaly copy to billions of people for illegal profit. Okay, that's official stuff but greatly improved and shared by passionate people. They make no profit or so from sharing their work and I don't think this would be a major loss of income for the Queen remaining members. I would even say, like Y*u t**e that this is "fair use". Like saying "Ok this is the official stuff and this is what I would do with it if I could officially release". ;-)

MercurialFreddie, I understand your opinion and without rules, I guess this forum maybe woudn't have been going on for so long. So hopefully there ARE rules. Posting official material may be breaking rules, but this is not like uploading the whole official "property of Queen productions" and making it available for dozens of people on an illegal dowloading site. That's where the difference lies for me. I'm right and wrong at the same time and I admit you are totally right. Let's enjoy this work on the show and talk about it for hours. :-)

But there are some sync issues in Hammer To Fall. Part of the end section was cut from the official release, but you've cut it in the wrong place. And by 84:40 the quality decreases - where is this footage from? Is this a different source from TV or something?

And another thought:

No wonder they cut out a big chunk of TYMD - by the second chorus there are only three angles for the editors to pick from, out of 16. Either some of these guys filming were clueless, or there were some major tech issues. Just like The Song Remains The Same. No matter how much footage you try to get, sometimes there just isn't enough.

Let it go man, it's history, done, buried (literally for the negatives).
Be grateful for the original interpositive they found, otherwise we would be watching in glorious HD an old copy from Queen archives (carefully restored, of course).
