Okay... what's it about? Why should I spent my time on this knowing nothing in advance except some guy has some book with Queen in the title.

Sell it to us!

Is this book title a joke?

Freddie may be dead, but he certainly isn't straight.

Seems interesting...if you actually listen to the interview, this guy seems to be right up this forums' street. Discrediting officially compiled books, disregarding Brian's old memory and getting to the root of some of the few remaining untold Queen facts.

Worth a read!

Indeed – I listened to the interview and poked around the free preview on Amazon, and it seems very interesting and well-researched. (Once I have a bit more disposable income I'll be getting myself a copy – being an unemployed full-time designer and semi-professional writer doesn't exactly pay the bills.)

It seems to me that Phil's modus operandi was to get to the root of the facts, as opposed to simply regurgitating commonly-held beliefs that the band and other researchers had printed time and time again. To be honest, this too was my goal when I wrote my book; unfortunately, it's been seven years since the last edition of my book was printed, and I don't foresee a third edition being requested any time soon, so a lot of facts that have been unearthed in that time likely made their way into Phil's book. Just the little tidbits of information he reveals in the interview is enough for me to want to get it.

Overall, great stuff, Phil! I wish you lots of success with it.
