Garden Lodge Footage

Does anyone know who released the Garden Lodge tapes that are on YouTube?

Why are u wondering?

I'm curious to know who had access and what their intentions were. I've been reading people's mixed reactions on how they feel. Some happy to watch and some feel invasion of privacy.

i think the garden lodge tapes are great to watch as it shows you the other side to Freddie and what he was like with his mates!
Quite different to the character Freddie Mercury on the big stage!

I think the tapes are fascinating. But now I wonder who let the footage out there. The man I believe Tony is taking most of the footage. Not much is written about him. He does seem a bit nosey walking around the lodge filming. I’m curious what his deal was

I guess recording a legend.

Amazing to think everyone featured in those videos is either dead or still alive.

Recording private home video for him and his friends...

I don't see the morbid curiosity to these private home videos.

So you think watching someone in a sex tape is equilivent to watching someone chat with friends on a video? I’m sorry that’s a bit asinine if your ask me. Remember these videos were released by someone in his “inner circle” for all to see . No one broke into garden lodge and stolen them.

The people who say that it's terrible that this footage got out there probably had no problem watching it at all. Wouldn't shock me if they saved it in their favorites file either.

I watched some of these footage and read the comments.
I don't think that there is any scandalous in those videos.
To me, the most interesting are cats, koi pool and the garden, which was really beautiful.

Someone should REALLY upgrade those video's!

I agree there is nothing morbid about those tapes in the slightest, it is great seeing Freddie with his friends and enjoying Christmas etc, it's nice seeing how happy he sounds showing the Mews property.

Freddie looked like he couldn't care less it was being filmed or I'm quite sure if he did not want anything filmed he would of said no.

It is a bit sad seeing them and some are no longer here. They are in pretty bad quality now but still great seeing the other side to Freddie having a great time.
