I know he passed away in 2010. Is there any knowledge of his life at that time? Did he have a partner? Did he leave behind anything from his life with Freddie ?

Jim himself wrote in his book, that after his exile from Garden Lodge he lived on earnings from his partnership with Fred. And that his love affairs were replaced by care of loving family (his parents, cousins, nephews-nieces etc).
