I saw that! Thought it was very cool that they used such a rare track (for non die hard Queen Fans)
Being the only queen fan in the room I stood up with pride and cheered when they used the song. It seems every year a queen song is played during the Super Bowl commercials. Somebody to love , with the goats last year or before was fantastic
And considering the recording is partly owned by the BBC, I can only imagine the joy that lawyers and licensers had to go through to get this played on American television.
But for Queen it's a walk in the park - they have their own publishing, so they see every last dime after the label and BBC take their cut.
