I read "Mercury and Me" and I really like it.
I know that many people have a negative opinion about it, but I think of the book as good.
There is nothing insulting in book, this is love story between Freddie and Jim and their common life, first of all.
It was fun reading but also very sad, especially a few last chapters.
I hope I will read Peter Freestone book soon.

Maybe someone has not read the book and has a bad opinion about it based on the negative comments of those who read it.
Perhaps this book has ruined someone's illusion about Mary as only and eternal Freddie's love.
Maybe they expected a book about Queen and Freddie's music, I don't know.
I really like this book but I have nothing against those who dislike or have not read it.

It's a cruel truth. It's nothing degrading about it, the fact is that he was suffering from a very serious illness.
After reading this book, I more like Freddie.
