Does Brian has eye problems?

Dear Queenzoners,

The last post from Brian May today (brianmay.com) made me a bit scared. There seems to be something wrong with his right eye. Did somebody noticed?

I think the fact that he's turned into a marsupial is a bigger concern... Oh wait

Looks as if he has a slight turn in his right eye (outward). Probably only shows on certain camera angles.

He's 70... I very much doubt he's got 20/20 acuity, but other than that, nothing too bad unless (until?) there's a sound reason to suspect otherwise.

Maybe you have eye problems.

To queenman: Look closer, it looks that way because there’s a reflection in his right eye at the top right (possibly a flash?) and can’t tell what’s going on the bottom left (of the right eye).

If you try to ignore those blemishes, his eyes are perfectly normal.

Brian suffers more than a bad eye, what about his prostate scare? I think to some extent he may be hiding something there!

He has laser eye surgery a couple of years ago to correct his vision but still continues to wear glasses, so I assume it either didn’t work as it should have, or went wrong?

He did, but as his own surgeon says, even laser surgery cannot completely eliminate his reliance on glasses. As for OP’s pic, it was probably just a bad angle. I don’t think even Brian’s stereoscopy habit is taking its toll on his overall ocular health.

Kerry would have noticed as she "finished off"......

Wow, there's something wrong over there.

Maybe his left brain id's overpowering his life or vice versa.

Maybe he's killing his left brain (analytics) and focusing too much on hearty things. Womenism, badgers and Lambert.

Maybe a bit much wine or something else.

But i recognize that off kilter look.
Maybe he's depressed right now.


U people have to consider that a lot of these projects weigh heavy on the guy's mind. The Tours the film the legacy the accusations the stress the age the books the studying the wife the kids the other non wife the ex wife stuff etc.

It's a lot to be a person let alone a substantially successful man under the microscope of uber fans and the public.


My best guess is over worked and maybe depressed.

Maybe he should hang with Tony Iommi or a friend who will throw some laughs around.

The human being has two halves....do the experiment yourself. Take a photo face forward and use a photo program.

Split it in the middle like two halves of a face


Replicate one side with its exact double and the same for the other side.
I.e. two right sides and two left sides

Tell me you don't see a difference.

Anyways. I saw this in myself as a teenager (morose and depressed and taking tons of benadryl [i hadn't yet learned that that's bad for attention])
and in a friend who took up smoking and alcohol and did drugs with his cousins until he got so fat, far out abd alienated that i had to stop hanging out with him.


Hopefully Brian is okay and maybe it's just a stress thing.

But yes, there's some imbalance. Something tricky about that eye.

He has had mild strabismus forever.
