Loads of people do those shows, why pigeonhole people, don't be so narrow minded. I suppose Dave Grohl deserves a WTF for going on Carpool Karaoke as well by your logic.

Maybe someone here should overthink, if he‘s following the right band? Queen has never been a traditional rock band. It’s members also never did, what everyone did.
If I was as bothered as you by what the remaining members do, I would simply find something, that gives me joy.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it in the least! His wife is one of the hosts of the show! Makes perfect sense for him to be on there.
