Hi everyone, since there is no official DVD release from Queen Productions, I hereby present to you my own production of the documentary - The Magic Years.
I've put the first two parts on Disc 1, and part two got it's way onto Disc 2 with some bonus material (special thanks to ChiefMouse) I hope you like it so, here is some information. Picture quality is very good.

Running Time: approx. 2 hours
Aspect Ratio: 16:9, 720x480, NTSC
Frame Rate: 29,97
Audio: 2ch AC3, 192kbps
Source: LaserDisc Rip

Great thanks. Maybe a single Blu Ray disc with all 3 volumes would be good too :-)

Thanks for sharing. Is this a new transfer direct from laserdisc or a re-encode of the mkv's shared a while back that had duplicate frames http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1479556/the-magic-years-laserdisc-rips.aspx?page=1

3 single MKV files would be even better.

So can anyone confirm if this version has the duplicate frames that cause some jerky play back in parts? Thanks.

It looks like this version has the duplicate frames so may well be a re-encode of the mkv's shared previously.

As expected. And radio silence from the producer, also as expected.
Anyway, comrade popov delivered what he promised and more - a DVD with "very good picture quality".
Since there is no processing involved, I guess this means conversion and authoring went ok. Glad to hear it.
