We're talking about a possible recording of said show.
After Den Haag 74 surfaced, after years of wild rumours, nothing surprises me anymore. Could be very well possible there is a Lund 74 tape. Or maybe not. We'll see :)

Last year was really good for unreleased recordings. But in this year we haven't any new recording yet. So this brand new tape would be great! Can't wait! :)

And if Freddie DOESN'T make mention of Lund? Big up to the people offering hep in the transfer process, but people make me fucking laugh; just leave the guy alone and be patient. I wouldn't blame him at all if he decided to fuck us all off and keep the tape to himself. No evidence is required - if it is what he says it is, then fantastic. If it's a wind up, congrats to him

All computers have onboard audio ("recording interface"), so you don't need a separate recording interface for this task.
Just check your devices and look for a cable that matches the requirements of both ends. Good luck!

The only development so far, albeit in the wrong direction, occurred when "I do have a tape deck" became "...as soon as I have access to my tape deck again", whatever this means.
I just hope the story is genuine, but it smells like a Dutch adaptation of the same classic play, set in early 70's Sweden this time.

There are perfectly fine single plug stereo-to-stereo cables out there. Mono plug-tip has one ring, stereo has two. One end goes into the headphones out of your tapedeck, the other one straight into your onboard soundcard (usually coloured pink or preferably blue)

Ok, so I got a cable (which is stereo, I believe) and I'm gonna do the tape transfer tomorrow when I have access to my tape deck again. To answer some of your questions: Freddie doesn't mention being in Lund during the concert but he does say something in Swedish before he announces the medley.

John Lemon, if some people are coming off as pessimistic about this, it's because we have been baited before. Some guy had mentioned that he had recordings of both nights in Long Beach 1977, which turned out to be a troll. Just understand that people are skeptical when it comes to recording claims.

Since quite a few of you seem to enjoy to act like dicks towards users who wanna publish uncirculated recordings both, on the thread and in messages they sent me on here - I have come to the conclusion that you guys don't really deserve being able to listen to the recording. I won't share it on here. And I suppose some of your behaviour is the reason why other people who own rare recordings don't want to share them here either.
Find another way of getting your uncirculated recordings. I'm out of here!

John, please do ignore them. Everyone is just sceptic about new users who claim to have a new recording. We have been pranked, joked fucked around with many times over the past while.

Hey. The people who are acting like dicks are the minority and not the majority. Many people here are just here to enjoy the music. Memeoverlord wasn't being hurtfull with what he said, he just told a truth, sometimes people turn out to be trolls. You shouldn't deny people a chance at a rare recording because some guys want to act like pricks. I, for example would be extremely greatful for a new recording, and so would most others here. But of course, it's your tape and your choice. I can't apologize for others, but I certainly feel ashamed if guests are feeling bullied here, and you have every right to not want to publish your tape because of it. Enjoy the music man, it's all that counts in the end :).

You guys all suck. Really, you do. Your pessimism denied us a chance to listen to this historic show for the first time, and now we'll NEVER get that chance again.
