Can't say that I am surprised over the negativity here. Everywhere else people are thrilled with the new additions and happy some older songs have been brought back and you people are still complaining! Surprise, Surprise!! Icy, if you wish to be the Queen of Queen's minutia, more power to you. But some of us don't really care. At this point in my life I have way more important things to worry about. As I have told you several times, we can enjoy the music without passing the trivia contest. I enjoyed every minute of their marvelous Lisbon concert without knowing any
of that stuff. You can quit throwing that in people's faces anytime.
For Runner, you seem to obsess about Adam's lack of power. Dude, you are clueless. I have been to 10 concerts and Adam can rip the roof off of whatever size venue he sings in. He is never overpowered by the band or all the noise in the venue. His voice has the power of an opera singer and he is usually holding that mike pretty far away. Goodness what would happen if it ever came close to his mouth. You have no idea what nonsense you are spouting. Unless you have sat in a concert and heard him, you can just stuff it, because your opinion isn't worth crap. He has one of the most powerful voices I have ever heard, reminds me of the strength of Bruce Dickinson, who I have also heard in concert many times. Don't go yapping about things that you have no clue about.
All of your remarks have no basis in fact, other than you hate Adam for some reason. That is fine, it is your opinion, but we don't care to read your garbage. Do you understand that?

Everywhere else? No, I don't think so. Maybe in LaLa land such as Adamtopia the Glamberts are falling over themselves. Well, usually unless AL leaves or gets dropped by his record company or they feel AL is slighted.
I've never had a problem with anyone enjoying these shows. Just to let that to sink in for you. You can go through my posts to see for yourself...or not since you say you remember so much about me and my posts ;-).
Apparently AL was not 100% during the first show. I hope it improves from here on out.
Adam seems like he's lost a bit of his range and power. I don't know. He still sounds good in the 4th octave/lower 5th, but I feel like he's holding back. I hope it's like you say, he's got a bit of a cold.

I honestly think that's why he was holding back on the first show. He will be doing those notes soon enough I say ;-).
Never thought Adam's voice would be a good fit for Queen, but I've been impressed with most of his interpretations of the songs. Some of Adam's stans do make him hard to like. He may not be the most skilled male singer I've ever heard, but he's in my top 5. I wish him nothing but the best, and I do hope age is not contributing to the decline of his voice thus yet.

Some Queen songs suit him better than others, IMO.
I'm not an AL stan, as far away as almost a person can get, but I like the guy and some of his music. Do you like his solo msic, just wondering? You don't have to answer, because I don't want to open a can of worms for you.
Nah, I don't think it's his age. He will be back full force, soon enough. With the traveling and it being the first show of this tour...maybe a little unwell and tired. Saturday's show may be better.
For the most part, I do not like his solo stuff. Most of the songs are pop fluff that pretty much anyone can sing, and they do not showcase his voice or vocal capabilities, IMHO, of course. I like the t song "Runnin", and there is a live version of "Sleepwalker" I was impressed by, performed in Russia, I believe. "Soaked" is good, vocally. I've been more impressed with his live stuff that's not original, like "Come to Me, Bend to Me", "Is Anybody Listening (not the Queensryche song"), "A Change is Gonna Come" from American Idol. I'm impressed by his skill, but none of these songs make me feel like he's a good fit for Queen. And I'm a longtime Queen fan, before Adam. Queen I, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, and Innuendo have been worn out in my household. But again, I really like the guy, and hope he eventually does have success. He has a lot more talent than what we are subjected to, in terms of radio play, at least.
that said, I can appreciate what he's doing with Queen, and I admire him as a singer. Don't mean to come across as negative. I'm a lover of music.
Snifflese I stand by it-his voice is thin as paper. Look for his lame save me version. Freddie belted this power ballad out and it had enormous power. The QAL version is utterly dreadful becuase of his lame rendition. Just one of many examples. The guy just does not fit: Age wise Music wise his awful stage manners where he comes across as a complete dick. Just absolutely disgraceful calling this rotting corpse Queen plus whatever.

Tell you what. Don't let anyone call you negative. You aren't.
I actually respect what you are posting. I hope there will be no "trouble" here for you by the two main Glamberts that go on the attack because you have replied to me and answered my questions.
I don't know what the future holds for AL, apparently he is now without a record company. I'd rather him make his own way than him doing cover songs.
Did lamebird really get dropped from his record company? Wasnt he supposed to be a megastar??? Can someone tell me the name of the guy who dropped him? I'd love to give a big salute to him!

I actually don't know if it was his choice to leave or was dropped by Warner Bros. He isn't on the site anymore. Whatever happened, going to be harder for him to release his own music. Unless he wants to ride on Brian's and Roger's coattails for as long as possible ;-). Which could be the case, considering he put more time and effort into Q+AL than his own music for years now.
