Good catch ! It is. But interestingly enough, the officially released one is in mono sound, and this one is stereo (but certainly not as clear sounding).

I've got one more here (again transferred by Kamenliter) from KMET radio in LA, December 1977. It was done at their hotel some time between December 19-22. The quality isn't great, but I've edited out the songs and what remains is a great and candid half hour conversation.

Highlights:

-Roger says there are 12 or 13 bootleg albums by this point (which is damn well accurate)

-addressing sensationalistic journalism at Rolling Stone, which leads to a great exchange about how well the band members know each other while maintaining bit of healthy mystique

-Brian says We Will Rock You was recorded pretty quickly, and near the end of the NOTW album sessions, almost as an afterthought
