WWTLF sucks being sung by the goat. He sings it completely unemotional, has no connection to the song whats oever and sings it like a robot. God forbid this shitsandwhich will be rerecorded

You need ear plugs as almost everyone agrees it is stupendous, probably his best song out of the catalog.

It seems like he tries way too hard with it. It's one of the songs I've never warmed up to AL singing.

So, usually he sings with no emotion, but this one is filled with emotion, but he tries too hard? Not even sure what that means. He sings pretty effortlessly compared to others, and that seems to be why some come up with no emotion, because he isnt't straining and cracking his voice like a lot of singers. So how is he trying too hard? I am quite curious what you see that leads to that conclusion.

WWTLF is Adam’s song! Absolutely gorgeous! When he hits that super high note, it is glorious! I don’t think there is anyone else who can do that—that I know of.

As for AL singing WWTLF, yes I do think it looks like he is trying to hard. Maybe some people here think he's full of emotion when he sings it, but not me, in the first video and many others I've seen him do because it often looks and sounds like he is in a bad musical.
I did not watch the one where he dedicated it to the victims of the shooting. But I've seen it before. Maybe something like ITTWC would have been a better song to dedicate...I don't know.

Of course I know what it means normally, but I just have never heard it applied to singing. Maybe if you couldn't sing and were trying really hard, but that is not the case with Adam. Don't get it. But I guess you have to find something to criticize, so that makes sense to me.
