I noticed that one upload of Self Made Man fell victim to this. Maybe a future release?

It's definitely a possibility, as a lot of Rainbow uploads got hit with copyright claims before the release of Live at the Rainbow.

The same happened to me on 2016, when I tried to upload an upgrade of Sao Paulo 1981 it got blocked. Later that year , part of that show was released in "Queen On Air".

does this mean we may get the best post Freddie Queen release later this year

No, it only means that you broke Queen's copyright and they want to take your money which you would earn from the video, nothing else. All of my Queen videos on youtube are claimed since youtube implemented ContentID, and we still haven't got Hammersmith Odeon 79 or Knebworth 86.

....and even then they’re not even getting money from stopping you as they’re not releasing it, but just stopping you possibly making a few pennies from your efforts on sourcing the clips and working on them and uploading them for the love if it. Legally justified but morally it leaves a nasty taste.

I agree

Morally speaking how can justify making any money from someone else’s copyright?

No problem ... China and India do it all the time.

I fully agree. That's why I got pissed every single time when a bootleg company downloaded a free share from here and produced a commercial product out of it. That's also why I never monetize any copyrighted content.

All the fuckers on YouTube from South America seem to have no problem with it. And get away with it most of the time.

My Ibex videos got claimed

Here's what I don't understand, is why YouTube's auto claim system is so broken and inconsistent..
This video have Boh Rhap claimed, which is fair enough. It's still available to watch by everyone.
This video however has the Queen + Paul Rogers version claimed, which automatically blocks my video pretty much worldwide. Even dispite disputing the false claim, they still claim it's valid....
