If we put both of them in a paper bag, and the only way to get out is by acting, then Rami is the only one getting out of the bag.

John blunt better than Malek
Malek is won only because he's popular
John Blunt looks more like him, but Rami is an actual actor. The TV movie was a cringefest all the way through. This has potential and i'm actually pyched to see it.

"This is where the operatic section comes in." had me laughing out loud though...hope that'll be the only quote they lift off the documentaries. John singing background vocals on Bo Rhap was surprising...to say at least. Maybe they tried....but told him to bugger off after a few takes. xD

Queen-fans are really hard to please. Unless it was Freddie playing Freddie, there'd be still people complaining about the hair, the teeth, the accent, the lisp, the belt, the pants etc..

This actually looks a lot better than it might have. Yes, Rami looks quite a bit off, but hey, I've seen biopics with far worse resemblance in the lead actor. And I see it's been mentioned before, but Brian's speaking voice is so spot-on it's utterly freaky.

I've been skeptical about this film from the start, but the trailer is not nearly as bad as I had feared. Still, it's just a trailer, not the real thing.

Also, are we going to see a chicken beat up Roger?

Did Deaky have a say? As in: did they ask him permission to make this movie?
I'm sure like the rest of the time so long as it keep the cheques falling through the door he won't mind...

This actor looks much more like Mick Jagger or David Johansen (New York Dolls)

I wonder how this movie will do in the box office...especially In America. And will it touch base on the last year of his life. I know the movie ends with live Aid, but they could still show Freddie in the last moments or perhaps even recording his last songs. Then end it with live Aid, on a high note.

For all the shit he's gotten through the ages, you posting his Facebook account is uncalled for.

I'm afraid this film will be exactly what it says on the tin: "a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury", as opposed to an insightful, revealing portrait of Freddie Mercury - the person. I wonder if there will be any reference to his childhood spent entirely in India, a time which surely contributed to his outrageous persona later on. Basically, it will be like the "Greatest Hits" album for the silver screen, don't expect any deep cuts there. I don't feel like we are going to learn much new from it and I certainly don't expect any shocking revelations.

Yep, I think this guy Fuller is spot on. Queerwashed, that's exactly what it is. And I think it may soon come to haunt this movie. If Brian and Rog thought a few backstage fights will be enough to keep a 2018 audience interested for more than a fortnight, then good luck.
