I have a very strange but nevertheless serious question: What would you do if somebody owed you a lot of money and some other items but you can't prove that they owe you the money because you don't have anything like a written contract?
Additionally, you can't contact the person for some reason.
What would you do in that situation?

The person who owes me money is/was a very ggod friend of mine. Part of the money, I didn't even exactly lend him but I lost some of the money at their place when I was visiting them and they even told me that have found my money. WE originally planned meeting again in person so that I could get the money back. So there was no chance to make a contract or something and I thought the money thing would be no problem because the person I'm reffering to is actually pretty nice. But as I said before, now I can't get in contact with them.

I sympathise. The only thing I can think of is if I got yourself a wealthy man you wouldn't have to work at all, and you could then just fool around and have a ball. But a man like that is hard to find and if he happens to be free there's a chance he might not fancy you so maybe the best thing to do is forget all your troubles, go to Las Vegas or Monaco and win a fortune in a game. Your life will never be the same.

The thing is: I don't want to financially depend on anyone - that's why I'm attending University. I actually would be glad if I could conntact the person and we could talk about the money issue and solve the problem.

Lol, I want my money back, I don't really want revenge. Even if I wanted to do that stuff - I'd have to spend about 700€ on a flight to their country.
