Why is there any discussion of it ever being Gary Mullen? It's as likely to be me as it is him.......

Becuase Gary has a very similar timber to 1985 - 1986 Freddie, even though his pronounciation of words is sometimes far off.
He could also (pre-2014) sustain notes with a very similar vibrato to Freddie but has trouble these days.
I realise this is going off on a tangent but the guy from Dios Salve a la Reina also has a similar timber but doesn't have the vocal range Gary has.
