But the whole point of it being a joke and fun is that no one is taking the piss out of Freddie. It would only be doing that if they were serious, which no one is.

To be fair I'd say the poster put it in the wrong thread, should have been in the Q+AL one, would make more sense but it still was a joke, at least by everyone who replied, that's obvious. And if you read the the title it say's better than Adam & Marc not Freddie. Why would it bother me if they were joking about Adam? And I don't get the homosexual reference, I didn't read it about being gay, unless I missed something.

That was clearly a joke, as it was when I said, yeah they missed a trick, should have had him doing the vocals in the movie. It's irony, so if you think about it it's actually saying Freddie was irreplaceable and the best (irony being the opposite of the literal meaning).

And people frequently insult Lambert, and yeah I do defend him if they mean it and it's untrue but if it's a joke I take it as such. Adam's the first to laugh at himself so I'm not gonna be bothered on his behalf about jokey comments.
