Hello people!
After a roller coaster ride of explanations, detective work, messages, and comedy, I have the privilege of posting this uncirculated Queen show publicly for everybody! The story behind this recording isn’t quite as ridiculous as the next night’s recording, but I shall tell it anyway:
Earlier in the month, a few random users posted low-quality samples of two performances. One was the fast We Will Rock You, and the other was Bohemian Rhapsody. At the time, the files were given a date of May 7th 1978 (Stafford) and all seemed to end. As the days passed, other comments popped up in private messages about these performances and confusion started when different stories about the recordings turned up. After doing some detective work and cross-checking some information with the person who eventually sent me the most complete copy of the recording, the actual date of May 12th has been confirmed.
Despite missing Bohemian Rhapsody, Tie Your Mother Down, and Keep Yourself Alive (along with a few cuts throughout the recording) this recording shouldn’t be passed up. Despite the average quality (and the fact that the quality worsens during the last few songs), the performances are top notch and reflect a band that is totally on fire. Freddie is in excellent shape on this show and gives his all throughout the show.

Have you forgotten what I posted on a different thread of this forum concerning this VERY SHOW?? So first of all you should thank me as well as I was involved in this "detective work" as well (I posted it under one of the Gary Mullen threads, some of you surely read it). Yes, I did/do have contact to the tape owner(they're even on QZ).Secondly, I don't wanna get in trouble so here is all I will say about it: The starter of this thread should be ashamed. This was almost as bad as the Liverpool '79 drama.
I am glad though the show got circulated but I'm not glad about the circumstances.

Nonsense.
If you wanted to post the recording, you could have. You have done nothing worthy of thanks. When you do, then people will thank you. Respect is earned.
Also - you didn't tape the show, so you have no monopoly over who does what with it. You're just sour grapes because someone with genuine intent released a show while you were useless and did nothing.
This is a happy thread. Don't sour it with your petty stupidity.

You don't even know what you're talking about. I was seriously trying to get my hands on the show but the taper is a dick who doesn't trust people who don't belong to the "famous collectors" of Queen concerts. I was not sitting around doing nothing!
I swear that I would do anything to get my hands on new recordings and share them. The only uncirculated show I ever owned was something I had access to for 2 years before it got published. I just wasn't allowed to even talk about it in public and when it got shared, the person who was even less entitled to share it, uploaded it on Queenzone.
All the tapers out there should release their stuff without anyone involved. Most of the people who share stuff here are hypocrits. I did a prank with the Lund recording but I would never take all credit for literally hoarding a concert.
