I wasn't talking aout reviews back when they were touring. I have no knowledge about that. I imagine it made quite a stir when QPR happened. The reviews I am talking about are current ones from now back to the first QAL tour. Perhaps after comparing the two singers, Paul was deemed not as great a fit. I haven't seen one since QAL started touring that said QPR was really successful. I am sure there are individuals that loved it, but looking at it from youtubes (like many here do for QAL), sure didn't look exciting and it most definitely didn't look like Queen. No one looked like they were having fun on stage and the voice of Rogers wasn't right for Queen on the majority of the songs. It kind of follows that those that don't like Adam, really liked QPR. Many seemed to be impressed because it was rock god to rock god, but I don't care about that and most of the more current reviews reflect that.

I never saw QPR. Maybe I would have loved it. But if you have never seen QPR or QAL, you are not qualified to make a credible comparison!

Says who you thinks PR was 'bland and boring'. Your very words. Your usual words to anyone who isn't Lambert.
I stand by my thoughts that Q+PR was better than Q+AL. Way better. It was very real. Loved his voice on most Queen songs, and I loved Brian and Roger playing on some of PR's back catalogue.
And as a bonus, I cannot imagine PR ever riding a bike onstage, the crassness about giving head, and the Coronet.
AL should have taken a few tips from PR about letting the music do the talking instead of using gimmicks.

Well, everyone has a different viewpoint. To some of us who love the theatrics and what you call "gimmicks", QPR does seem flat, uninspired and one dimensional. Whether or not you believe it, the bike and the couch get some of the biggest applause because it is just so silly and people love it! People are going to be entertained and sometimes "real" in this world is just not what they want. They want to go on a flight of fantasy, Of course, it is just not gimmicks, the musicianship and the singing are stellar. I do agree about the head business, I do cringe and could do without that one!

Of course everyone has a different viewpoint. And thank you for respecting that, and not saying views don't matter unless one has attended concert/s. Genuine thanks to you for that.
When I listen to Queen..it's the talent and music that stands out to me the most. We all know Queen were very out there at times, for example Bohemian Rhapsody, bells, whistles, kitchen sink to say the least. But it was organic IMO. Q+AL isn't very organic for me, after all AL is singing 99% of other people's songs.
Q+PR was more real to me in many ways than Q+AL ever was and likely ever will be.

So why waste your time to link to streams etc? Oh wait, it's for you to promote AL.
Next time you bitch about Adele, Sam Smith, and even Paul Rodgers are bland and boring, I'd say you should go see them and then you can post to bitch about them. Because that's what you have said pretty much about people who didn't or don't go to Q+AL shows.
Your hypocrisy is staggering.
