I was on Amazon last night and I found 6 new books about Freddie/Queen,some rather nice looking cinema posters of Freddie.This film release looks like its going to be massive,I wonder how many dvds of the film and soundtrack there will be ?Any idea what will be on the soundtrack? Did Freddie really crowd surf as shown on the film clip.

I have been there pretty much from the start,and I don't remember any 'crowd surfing', the only thing I do remember is that Freddie ended up in the audience at a gig at Stirling university,there was a bit of a riot,something to do with the amount of alcohol consumed i believe....I have high hopes for the movie,LONG overdue,as it will show what a fantastic band Queen were,and hopefully there will be some kind of compilation album.They need to be ruling the charts again,as there is so much dirge out there now,I can barely listen.Ok,so I spilled my coffee when Hot Space Freddie discusses 'We Will Rock You' with Brian in 1977....................

On the second clip from the movie Freddie is held aloft on his back by the audience. I think that anything that can be released will be released with this movie.Looking forward to it and best of all no Adam Lambert.

I'm probably going to buy Thor and Lee's book. Unless there's a classic QUEEN (as a touring rock band) suitable gift set for FANS like me. ....I'm prob not buying it. sorry guys.
They'll get a few movie tickets from me. And maybe some ridiculous publicity cause I'll dress as a Queen band member...but that's probably it unless there's a huge surprise to come.
Would be a GREAT TIME to rerelease that FM BOXED SET from 2001 ....seeing as how it never got a US release.
If they priced it at $80 they'd sell em like hotcakes in winter at a diner. ....at 6am.....on the snowinest day......at a place. ...that only served hotcakes
