Queen’s bass player John Deacon, under exclusive license to Country By-gones Shit (in short: CBS Records) will release ‘The Man in The Shadows (Rejected Album Side)’. The record, rated PG-21 will feature hidden gems from John Deacon's private archives. Such tracks as Out To Bali Again, Stripping Like a True Deaky and the upcoming hit On The Day That Brian Returned feature John Deacon's versatile vocal performances, kept in secret since 1991 because of his best friend's and group leader of Queen: Freddie Mercury's will. It is rumoured that upon hearing of these very tracks Brian May, in cold blood, killed a badger and even Mercury himself - although weakened by AIDS - was not able to stop him. It was one of his most poignant decisions to keep this album shelved.

As 30th anniversary of recording these glorious vocal tracks is drawing near, a special edition of the album will be released featuring the second disc, on which demos of some of the tracks from the album and original never-heard before demos will be released for the first time.

1. Burning Cheeks (Re-Made into: Burning Checks).
2. The Whiny Curl Flattened Sharply / Badger's Blood
3. Forced Rhapsody / Singing in a Trunk
4. Pain in the Back (Re-Made into: Adam Took My Pride)
5. Freddie Was Right / They Broke My Fender

For casual fans and Queen connoisseurs alike, the new MITSH package, with its feast of extra material, is manna from Heaven - a buried treasure from a most famous partying bass guitarist in his prime.
No hope for Jazz releaze in any edition or complete video collection on BD/2DVD?
hoping for a complete video collection or live vinyl box set. very doubtful of something unearthed this year given they've been touring etc.

i would not be surprised if they issue a live QAL blu ray to coincide with the movie release.
Touring is one thing while GB, Jim Jenkins and others are working on archival stuff. Maybe the band or Jim Beach gave approval for something and something is really waiting in the pipeline.
Another hits compilation as a OST for the upcoming movie...
Makes sense to do a new Greatest Video Hits package to support movie release. Hopefully on blu-ray in original 4:3 ratio and with Innuendo singles all in 5.1
Dead Daddy Long-legs. I'm still drinking it.
Wouldn’t there have been some more concrete rumours floating around by now about such a product? It’s August 10th already and with the UK release of the album on October 24th they’re running out of time to prep a release. Yes sometimes there is a press release 6 weeks before the actual release date but haven’t the last couple of releases been known about at least 2 if not more months before?

I think the soundtrack album is all we’re getting plus more advertising/ promotion for the existing ‘hits’ albums possibly with ‘enhanced’ packaging.
we still have time.- i think we usually get an official announcement in september for a november release.
Jim Beach likely will not flood the market with an archive release at the same time the OST is released.

I wonder if the OST will have have a new song that QZ-ers will be forced to buy?

Queen version of Love Kills???
Socialism: There's one for you, nineteen for me Should five per cent appear too small Be thankful I don't take it all
Repackaged Greatest Hits
I thinkhat we will get Greatesthits videos with some extras for bite. Then shitty kitch mush up Queen songs like the ones featured on the movie trailers.
A shitty book about the movie. I forgot about the soundtrack.

This.
John Deacon: "I've heard what they did and it's rubbish." "Freddie can never be replaced." Brian May & Roger Taylor - ruining Queen's legacy since 1998.
Wembley 86 with Live aid as a bonus.
