Also they talk about Buenos Aires and show the Bob Harris 77 footage? I thought that that shit died with DoRo. At least the concert footage looks better than what we got. Also, no de-interlacing of the video before the NTSC->PAL conversion??? And why was there a NTSC->PAL conversion anyway, since the NTSC tape is already a PAL -> NTSC conversion. The Freddie backstage footage at Knebworth is taken directly from a youtube video. Such a missed oportunity to create something great.

Seeing Hyde Park footage in that quality from the official source is very dissapointing. If this is all they got, I can understand now why they never released it. Also let me quote queenlive.ca:
'In 2001, Jacky Smith, the head of the Queen fan club, said, "The quality is very very bad and they cannot 'rescue' it as it was filmed on 16mm and not stored properly." While the segments from the aforementioned DVD are in excellent quality, this doesn't necessarily mean all the footage has survived.'
Not good...
On the other hand, Buenos Aires looks very promising!

^ Yeah, because it's from the Rare Live 1989 monstrosity. I have a feeling that this was done by someone who had no access to internal archives. So, you see Hyde Park in HQ from the DOOL documentary, but see some in bootleg quality.
Same goes for the Mannheim and Knebworth stuff, all from the Magic Years documentary from 'Hungarian Rhapsody'. So, basically, another wasted opportunity for something decent.

Maybe Hyde Park finally comes out as a bonus disk on one of the new releases.. Also really nice encouraging video fragment from Buenos Aires, hope they put it into play. And some really interesting fragments from Knebworth. It's great that the theme of video releases is not completely abandoned on the shelf.

For a band with such an amazing live archive this short film is really a letdown.
It doesn't do justice to the incredible live band they were.
It's not well produced at all...
