Fun Freddie fact about Love Kills

Love kills has great potential but official version sounds unfinished for me, especially instrumental mix.

To me that song is so quintessentially 80s it makes me wanna cry (in a good way though)... Excellent production, fantastic vocals. Definitely my personal highlight from all of Fred‘s solo work.

I play the 12“ almost every time when I‘m DJing and it works any time. Amazing to watch people react and singing along. Apparently many of them do know the song even though it never was such a commercial success back in the day.

Unpopular opinion, but I like Queen ballad version of the song the most.

Popular opinion, i like the rock version of the song.
That would have been some Queen song.

The live version with AL sounds quite wonderful.

Dont forget AL version of "Love Kills" is only wonderful as you put it because Queen provide the music.
I wonder if you would still say that if Lambert performed that without Queen to back him up?

I've always been fond of the rock version.

You really should read more carefully. I'll explain it to you.

What you mention is exactly what I was saying:
1. I'm quoting Kosimodo where he wrote "That would have been some Queen song." because I'm talking mostly about Queen members - Roger and Brian.
2. I wrote "the live version WITH AL", not "OF AL", because I'm talking mostly about Roger and Brian.

So you didn't have to write your post because this is exactly what I was saying, but not directly.
