"Sorry Adam Lambert/Queen fans, but I think there is no Queen without Freddie… and in my humble opinion, there shouldn’t be, either."

True words - Kudos to him!

Sorry runner but I'm not sure what that's supposed to prove tbh. The guy's entitled to his opinion of them and what he thinks they should or shouldn't be doing but that's all it is at the end of the day, just his opinion.

How can Freddie have a grandson?

godson

Frederick didn't have any grandchildren.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Godson yes - just prove that even the closest to Freddie (John/Freddie Mack and lots of others) think AL is just crap and Maylor harm their legacy.

You've no idea what John thinks since he's never said and he retired long before they even heard of Lambert, and who's all these others?

Truth is they're doing great, people are going to the shows and loving it, lots of their peers are turning up and praising the show, can't be that bad. There'll always be people who don't like it and people who just hate the thought they're touring at all but thankfully they have the final say and they're having a blast.

John clearly stated that he hated the collaboration between Robbie Williams and Maylor. He said that Queen ended with Freddie's death. Which is true. Wonder what he is thinking about the Lamejerk abomination

He did say that about Robbie, but it's not Robbie they're touring with, he hasn't mentioned Adam and his son has been to see them a few times apparently. Doesn't mean he's ok with it but it doesn't mean he isn't either. Unless he say's something I guess we'll never know.

As for saying Queen ended he's right, this isn't Queen it's Queen + or half of Queen + if you prefer. Brian has said in interview that both he and Roger felt the same, Queen were over and for a long while it was but they're musicians, they love performing and eventually they felt the need to get back out there, I don't see how anyone could begrudge them that, it's not like they dumped Freddie, it was just sad circumstances that meant the band ended prematurely.

its just destroying their legacy calling themselves Queen (regardless of + or -) and especially teaming up with a casting guy. Thats utterly laughable...

It's not though, they're getting great reviews and people are loving it, no one thinks it's destroying anything except a few of their fans. Lots of respected musicians go to the shows, they rave about them afterwards, how can that be destroying their legacy.

Those "few" are more than you can think of. Get out of your Lamebert closet. Anyone with taste hates this collaboration.. Look at the non Queen forums. They are negative 99,5% about this guy

Don't know what you mean by non Queen forums? I go off the response of the crowds, the fact they see multiple shows in many cases and the comments after the shows. There's still a demand six years later so it doesn't really matter if some people aren't on board, there's enough who are to keep them viable.

The roar of the audiences at these sold out shows says more about QAL than the lame, limp comments in this forum. LOLOL

LOL! Says the man, who‘s no longer taken seriously, even on Queen‘s official Facebook site. You are more and more ridiculing ourself, man!

And: Freddie Mack is Freddie‘s and John’s godson. And if you read the article, you would clearly be able to see, that he hasn‘t had any contact to anyone close to Queen since he was a little child. Not even to John. Yes, he idolizes Freddie, naturally. So his opinion on QAL is understandable. Still, it‘s irrelevant. As irrelevant as the opinions of Brian and Roger‘s godchildren. Or would you ask them? ;)
