Why *does* Roger wear sunglasses inside all the time? I've read that they're prescription (via a 1997 interview of Brian and Roger), but how realistic is this?

Then why don't the rest of Queen where sunglasses as much (or inside) like he does? Answer me this, ya prick!

I have never heard of a prescription. I don’t believe it’s for medical reasons. His sun glasses are just an accessory to his outfit. At my last gig he wore them in the beginning, but put them aside after 2-3 songs.
Lambert did the same.
Brian is not into such things. ;-)
And Freddie only wore them very occasionally.

Coz Roger was always a Rock Star.. He came out of his mothers vagina wearing sunglasses. Queen only ever existed to make Roger Taylor a fucking Rock Star... ffs
All we know is that he was wearing them when a camera was on him... which makes him a ROCK STAR!!!

If you wear prescription glasses or contact lenses, it's realistic you might wear prescription sun glasses as well.

I recall that in the 90's he did wear sunglasses because of his sight. There are also some pictures of him wearing regular glasses around that time.

He wears perscription sunglasses, one of his eyes is much weaker than the other
Perscription sunglasses are very common you can order them for driving etc, any glasses can be purchased with tinted lenses, I have some from reading that I take on holiday for example, very handy on the beach...

Roger wears sunglasses because he heard baldness is hereditary. You can catch if from toilet seats.

Blimey I wasn't expecting anyone to clock that! Fair play.
Viz is the best, although it's not as funny as it used to be.
