1977 arena

From last year's News Of The World documentary. Can anyone tell which US arena this is? Is it the Houston Summit, or one of the others?

It will probably be impossible to know exactly how much footage was filmed over these two months, but tidbits like this can help complete the picture.

It could be the Omni in Atlanta, going by this photograph on Queenconcerts;

Yep, that's the one - nicely done !

So we've got soundcheck from Atlanta, stage setup from Fort Worth, and show footage from Houston (all those alternate angles match the existing Houston footage). All in the same four day stretch, Dec 8-11. And the rehearsal footage from Shepperton in late October.

Bob Harris mentioned Vegas too, but something tells me nothing was filmed there, as the venue was a casino theatre - a lot less room for a film crew. Here's a shot of the room taken in the 70s:
