Is it about Jim Hutton?

My guess is it’s about Anita Dobson. But really could be about anyone including Freddie’s second favorite cat...bijou
I think that song Bijou is about Jim. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think so.
For what reason some people believe that the song is dedicated to a cat?

I always regarded this song as a 'good bye to fans' from Freddie. The same way as the video for "TATDOOL".
This can be the reason why it has been placed right before "The Show" on the album. It's like the intro to the closing track of the final Freddie's album.

I always read it that it was likely to be for Mary, or even the band as an entity...but ultimately everyone will take it as they want to.

due to sar-cat-ism
@Jimmy Dean Your comment was sarcastic but some people really think that the song is about a cat and I wonder what the reason is.

I was thinking of another possibility. Maybe it's about Freddie's ring which Jim gave to him and Bijou is about of that ring as a symbol of their love.

I think its so much emotion in it so I guess it was about Jim but hey maybe Im wrong
It's actually a homage to Paul Rogers who, surprisingly, was Freddie's favourite singer.
Ahahaha thats funny as fuck
I thought Brian wrote the lyrics? If so it's unlikely to be about Freddie's boyfriend :o
Often wondered why jim, joe and peter were all left the same amount of money 500k, if jim was indeed freddies partner at the time of his death, you would think he would be left a higher sum of money than the other two.
Lyrics came as support for the melody, they have no specific meaning.. like most Queen songs.

As far as I know, Jim H. got a house in Ireland from Freddie while Freddie was close to the end. At least they had a agreement about that subject.
Joe Fanelli got a small house as a support because he had the disease too.
It's about Adam Lambert, Frederick's favourite American Idol loser.
