It has always been suggested that the band's sound man, John Harris, recorded many of the early shows, but as any tapes haven't been found, this can't be confirmed.
It's not such a surprise for the band to perform 'White Queen' without a piano, as the 'Queen II' version didn't have keyboards on either.[/QUOTE]

That IS a shame.... ://// I was certain that at least these tapes are there in the Queen archive, safe and already digitally transferred :/ A big shame it is to hear such news

it is a great book. I was happy to contribute a few pictures for Gary. Lots of great info and pictures, highly recommend it.

Gary I did catch one mistake. I didn't see my name contributed to one of the pictures I sent. True, but I'm only busting you, no biggie. Glad the book was a success for you.

Just wanted to add my two cents on this book. Received it from Gary last week and I've been face deep in it ever since, it's wonderful - a genuine labour of love, and lots of interesting details and photos. Love it.. Hope he has his eyes on a rest of the world version!

Fantastic book! My wife bought it for me for Christmas, and it arrived on Christmas Eve! Love it. Particularly since I was fortunate (and old) enough to see Queen perform twice in the United States (Philadelphia, PA).

I'm now down to the last 20 'Queen Touring America' books, so if you want one get in quick as there wont be any more printed.

Due to a heavy devaluation of our currency, it became very expensive for me to buy this book (mostly bc of shippping cost) but comments are great about it, congrats Gary for the good work!
