is Brian May wrong about discussing how Freddie suffered before he died an

Brian May is not my favorite Queen the only one that I like is Freddy. But he did write a book recently discussing the band's experience with Freddie Mercury. I think it'll be a good book and I think he had the right to do it. He's a millionaire I don't think it was for money. People have been sliming him about discussing Freddie Mercury's pain. I don't think that that is a bad thing to talk about. It gives us more sympathy toward Freddy. I have never particularly liked gay people and I have never understood them but from what I've been reading over these months I have developed an immense compassion for people with AIDS and especially gay or lesbian people. Empathy is a good thing no matter how you obtain it.

I just noticed part of my subject line was omitted. Brian May was slammed for discussing how Freddy lost part of his foot. If a person explores death from AIDS and sees the pictures it is a terrible thing. I have done a lot of online research looking at kaposi sarcoma and so forth. It is just hideous. Horrible. Painful. It even goes into your brain. It is in your lymph nodes and your blood and wherever the circulation is the virus goes and attacks.

That part about his foot was printed by the Sunday Times I think, they were supposed to be doing an article about Brian's book and instead did a trashy "expose". This was Brian's reaction, he was really upset about it.

Well, I would try to be gentle with new fans. I don't give a flying shit if somebody writes Freddy instead of Freddie and he's a new user. Calm down.

Now, if he has a good amount of posts, it's good to warn him/her without being aggresive: "Hey dude, the man was called FreddIE Mercury. Call him by his name please, it bother us."

Even though, if it were for me, I don't care if you call him Freddy. I mean, we're here for the music, the stories, the shows, movies, recordings, etc. That kind of attitude is counterintuitive, you scare off people which could be helpful or funny.

Ugh! Calm down.

The point wasn't even that "she" misspelled his name, but more about "Mr. Right/Happystar" picking his allies solely on the fact that they are agreeing with his endless crusade against everything "Queen+". Meanwhile, he's forgetting that "she" is misspelling the name of the guy he's desperately trying to "honor" and protect from the evil clutches of Brian and Roger's greedy paws.

Aimed at his hypocrisy, not at "her" at all.
The stupid pm "she" sent me kinda made it about "her" though.
