When he plays drums, he typically opens/closes his mouth. Possibly a way to keep beat.

His mouth movements got more pronounced over time. I always figured it was just a concentration thing whilst keeping time.

Like most rock drummers of the era, he wanted to be Keith Moon so weird half gurns are a thing.

Like all late 90s teenage rock guitarists having a union jack guitar.

I'm so proud of Roger. I'm glad he gave up that, "I want to sing the songs I write..." era. Glad him and John wrote more frequently, too. The A Kind Of Magic album is one of my favorites, I prefer it so much more than Queen, Queen II, or Sheer Heart Attack.
