So with the The Beatles 107 track White Album release today it got me thinking, is anyone aware of any acoustic demos that Queen ever did prior to hitting the studio? Do any actually exist or did they mainly demo with the full band setup?

Anyone?

No, there´s never been talk of such material. But you never know, anything can be unveiled one of these days.
Take Dreamer´s Ball, for instance. We got that excellent acoustic take back in 2011. I wouldn´t be surprised if other similar demos ara locked in the vaults awaiting to see the light.

Surely something exists in terms of early takes, but there's probably not much left. "Dreamer's Ball" (2011 bonus track) and "Who Needs You" (acoustic take from last year's NOTW 40th anniversary) are pretty much all we'll hear in the foreseeable future.

Long Away might've been demoed acoustically and with Freddie singing. '39 too might've been recorded with Freddie singing. We can only hope.

Don't forget the FLASH GORDON demos.
Those were a unique taste of WIP style recording. some fans still prefer them to the synth album versions (i don't....for continuity but they're great)

Definitely more interesting than the final versions to me :-)
