This is something that I've never worked out. In 1985 I was moving into a new flat. I had spent a couple of weeks on a friends sofa on Shaftesbury Ave in London and was making multiple tube journeys from Leicester Sq tube taking my stuff to my new flat.
Near L Sq tube station I saw Roger and Brian with two women. I assume at this time it was Chrissy and Dominique. As I was carrying a record case I approached for autographs and they were both really nice. The only Queen-type album in the case was Mr Bad Guy. Roger signed it 'Love, Fred' with his own Mont Blanc pen and passed the pen to Brian who also signed. Roger walked on and Brian handed the pen back to me. Being an honest sort I called after Roger and gave him his pen back (he looked like he couldn't care less).
I'm a bit OCD about dates and what I was doing when and I can't work out the date for this. It was late summer/early autumn 1985. For some reason I have it in my head that they were coming from a film premier at a cinema in L Sq.
Does anyone know of any premier or such event they would have attended around that time for me to get the date. (it enables me to work out dates etc of other life events)

They could also have been at a meeting regarding the 'Highlander' soundtrack.
There's a picture somewhere of John and Princess Diana at a film premier, but it might be after 1985.... It's on this forum somewhere.
They could've just dressed up to go down the pub, like in their old clothes stall days.

That was probably the premier of Biggles

You can't be "OCD". You can have it, and it is rarely about being anal about things. Come on.
Can we see a picture of the album signed? Seems too funny to have that signed by them..
