Queen - 2 (1984, 1986 The Netherlands)
The Cross (Roger Taylor) - 1 (1990 The Netherlands)
Brian May - 2 (1993, 1998 The Netherlands)
Queen & Paul Rodgers - 4 (2005 France, The Netherlands - 2008, The Netherlands)
I've got very great memories of both Queen concerts from 84' and 86', those are my all time favorites, especially the 84' concert, my first big concert and since then I've seen and been to a lot of concerts by various artists/bands but never had the same experience. Although artists/bands like Prince, Bruce Springsteen, the Stones, George Michael, David Bowie, U2 and Tina Turner etc. come close.
The Queen and Paul Rodgers tours from 2005 and 2008 where good concerts, but i would have liked a Brian, Roger and Paul smaller venue tour with a more acoustic set with 50% Queen, 25% Paul's stuff and 25% rock classics. That would have been great for fans, but not a commercial success probably.
I haven't been to any Queen and Adam Lambert concerts (or should i say shows?). Personally i think that technically Adam is a great singer, but the whole thing sounds and looks like a very good tribute (Broadway)band to me. Maybe that's what it is and people seem to like it and that's fine, but it's not Queen with all it's original members from the 70's or 80's, not even close in my opinion.
What is a “fake lead singer?”
Yes, Freddie was the main attraction! The current collaboration is a more democratic one. While Adam is the lead singer (real, and anything but fake), the other members of the band get THEIR moments in the spotlight and they are all magnificent!
Keyboardist Spike Edney is more appreciated because he fills the space that Freddie occupied at the piano. Neil is a wonderful bassist. Both Brian and Roger are featured more than they used to be.
The “show” part comes from the spectacular lights and special effects that were not available in the 70’s and 80’s.
In other words, don’t knock it if you haven’t seen it. Freddie is not forgotten in the new shows but given a very special place of honor!
For anyone who missed it, this is an excellent review earlier this year from a diehard Queen fan:
http://hifiwaythepopchronicles.com/2018/03/04/queen-entertainment-centre-adelaide-27-2-2018/
I saw Queen in 1980, 1982 and 1986.
Lost interest after Freddie’s death. My kids decided, that they would take their dad to see his former favorite band to celebrate his 50th birthday.
So I saw Queen + Adam Lambert 2015. Against my hopes, I really liked it. My family as well. So we‘ve seen them again in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Only negative side: It’s really expensive. But the fun at each gig was worth every penny.

Spike Edney was viewed plenty when Freddie was in the band.

Yeah, that screen is terrible. Too modern.
To me fake singer is someone who cannot sing! They chose Adam because, unlike some others, he is able to sing their songs in the original key they were written and has the same range that Freddie had. Also, he takes care of his voice and is very dependable night after night (or day) indoors or outside and is a fun and affable guy to get along with—not a prima dona.
Sorry to be off topic but I’m responding to the unfair criticism of Adam.
It is interesting to see the posts of others regarding which concerts they have attended over the years. I’m jealous of those lucky people who saw the band in the 70’s and 80’s with Freddie and John, but since that is no longer possible, I have thoroughly enjoyed the latest collaboration which is mind blowing and out of this world! I csn’t get over those old guys and how amazing they still are! Brian, Roger and Spike are musical treasures!

There's less of Freddie than ever before in these shows. It's a shame. It's personally why I wouldn't go to a show, even if it was local. Get rid of the tacky gimmicks, like the bike, coronet, awful banter, and put more Freddie and yes John back in there. Q+AL makes the music seem less important than the gimmicks.

Well, she must always hype up and promote AL. No matter where or when.

And my stalker follows up with a 3-page dissertation no matter how brief my post is. So I’m sorry for causing THAT !!!

Once again, you couldn't help but hype up and promote your guy. Do you seriously get paid for it, or do you want or need to get paid for it? It's like you can't help yourself.
The stalking crap again. How about you stop that? You really should STFU about throwing stalker around about me, since you dragged my ill parents into your twisted shit. Bet you aren't sorry for any of that.
You completely ignore what I said in my above post, just to throw that you think I'm a stalker around again. One of your many excuses you use to pay no attention to actually what was in my post. You don't even have a come back that there is less of Freddie and John in these shows, maybe you are over the moon about that, because there's more AL.

Lambert is a west end musical singer and even Queen roadie Peter Hince said that on BBC1 "One Show" 5 weeks ago. He too does not like the Queen + hype either. Freddie's right hand man has spoken.[/QUOTE]
On the other hand Phoebe has no problem with it and has been to see them live a couple of times. I guess all that proves is different people like different things and have a different opinion of those things.

Sweetcaroline Adam does not have the same range as Freddie and he does not sing the songs like Freddie used to do.
Lamberts range is blisteringly high like Axl Rose and he has a thin screeching singing voice. Mercury on the other hand had his own style which was a much better even range than Lambert.

Indeed, but the simple truth is that Adam Lambert can use his entire vocal range, which is quite considerable, night after night. It's something Freddie couldn't do.
