....But there's still time!

I would like to think at some point, Freddie actually hit him (Brian).

It actually would explain quite a bit of the past few years regarding everything.
Roger: Can I go To Lunch Now? Brian: No, You Can't... --------------------------------------- Freddie: Oh Shit, All this crap again?! "If I had to do it all over again, yes why not? why not

Oh, I´ve heard this quote recently too.

It's on youTube - Freddie Mercury talks about Brian May.

I think it's a very funny interview, Before Freddie talks about Brian, he had to remind Lisa Robinson (the reporter) the names of the rest of the band. I leave the link just in case:

I can quite understand Freddie's frustration with wanting to hit Brian cos he can be a stubborn goat at times and annoying.
May on the other hand could not square up to Bowie in the studios and walked away.

Why would Brian want to "square up to Bowie" what's the point?

VH Because a row had erupted in the studio when Queen + Bowie were rehearsing Under Pressure and it got out of hand
Bowie was very aggressive and May walked out.

That program Lisa worked for... Night Flight. I don't know why Freddie even bothered. Their music videos never even made moderate rotation on that channel.

In that very interview Mercury confirms exactly I've been saying - that they were travelling in separate limos to gigs by the 80s, and that it was all business.

Because only SOME members of Queen became difficult to work with and be around, not all of them.

Are they handing out rose coloured glasses at the door when people join this site?

Again that is the attitude that differs. From Freddie we never hear anything apart from a couple of jokes and sincere or mockingly humble statements. In public. No matter what was going on in private. Of course four men in their late thirties do not want to share a car or a flat, they want more space and get tired of touring sooner (not like in their early 20s).

People are not given rose coloured glasses, they just get used to intelligent and caring man speaking.

I clearly remember that everytime he was asked about personal problems of other Queen members, he went out of his way to cover them.

I bet he wouldn't made a biopic about "Brian getting divorced" or "Roger Taylor buying a new car every year" and make it all that is said about them.

Again, I asked why he would square up to him. I could re phrase it and say why would he feel the need too?

If you watch the rehearsal footage from the Freddie tribute it's clear Brian and Roger and Bowie get on. It was even cleared if you'd seen them chatting in the Hard Rock Cafe back stage bar at the tribute.

The documented studio row was probably between the two singers, Brian had no involvement in it so walked away. Who knows he may have even agreed with what Bowie had said. The fact is we don't know, we weren't there.

Well Brian has actually told the story of not confronting Bowie that night after they all went out for a meal and returned to the studios to jam
and Roger Taylor remembered the little bass line to a new song which became "under pressure" later a heated debate broke out with Mercury Bowie and Taylor so Brian walked away.

That would make a pretty boring film, that nobody is interested in. It’s not B&R, who came up with the idea of a film.
Most people outside the Queen bubble don’t care about Brian and Roger or don’t even know, who they are.
