Can you elaborate on this?

"bootleg labels" dont spend that much money on uncirculated tapes.
All mr Peach got was a couple of silver pressed cds.

Bootleggers are idiots. Criminals I might ad.
People that buy bootlegs are even bigger idiots.

Especially in this digital day and age.

Have you see the recent Mikey Mike Masters on dime? This dude taped hundreds and hundreds of Clapton shows. Audio and video. Over 4 decades.
Insane rare uncirculated things. He stopped sharing at some point because his tapes got bootlegged.

That's how things circulate in this digital day and age.
Of course all Mikey's shares will end up being bootlegged again. Hopefully it doesn't keep him from sharing this time.
But if idiots keep buying those bootlegs instead of downloading the taper's shares for free, there will always be a market.

Taping and sharing is great. Bootlegging and buying bootlegs is for idiots.

Thank you for this work. So good to have the whole show!

I wilI listen to it as soon as I can. I had also tried to replace the Machine intro with the DJ, by the machines intro available in Greg Synth video for the same show, amplified the volume not to have a sound gap but actually, if what I did was not so bad, it was not that good in the end because of the problem I had with the guitar sound at the beginnign of TIU. I still feel the transition is not smooth enough. Maybe I should have been more patient with Audacity. Or maybe I havent't used the correct tool on Audacity (I used the copy cut paste which is enough if you know exactly the position but not in this case obviously)

Thanks for sharing.

I corrected Machines Intro and Tear It Up to make the transition out from first to second a bit smoother.

Indeed, bootlegging does piss off a lot of tapers. But don't underestimate the money that flows around in that industry. Top dollar is still paid for tapes.

Because like it or not, there are tapers and collectors that will only deal with the bootleg labels because they want the money.

There are still dozens of Queen tapes (never mind other bands) that have only emerged from bootleg labels. Online sharing is amazing in 2018, but it isn't the be all and end all. The process of bootlegging may seem antiquated in this digital age, but it is still very much alive. Just ask Zeppelin collectors.
