Not sure if it hasn't been discussed before, but after going through some videos on youtube, and seeing past threads from a few years back, what bootlegged version of live in paris 1979 is far convincing in terms of quality + sound?

Paris seems to be a contender for a new concert (or concerts) release next year - a compilation of the three concerts is what we could expect.
If you can't wait until then use Chinwonder2's videos, always using the best sources of things available.

I've downloaded it this from the Queen concerts database (version 9) following this link:
It's a mix of five sources. I hope the link still works, it's been a long time since I donwloaded it. (five minute later) I've just tried it. I hope this iwhat you are looking for. The best version to my ears.

That was for the audio of course. For the video, I don't know. I've never been looking for the video.
Here's a link from the Queen database but it's not a mix, only some tracks.
I think that's an early transfer I made and shared from my betamax recording.

In my perspective, the QTV version is overall the best picture quality, but the only transfer where in some parts like during Fat Bottomed Girls, throughout You're My Best Friend, and the beginning of Now I'm Here, is where it starts to look messy. I tried making my own restoration using mainly the QTV copy, but I wasn't too satisfied of how it turns out.

There are different transfers of various QTV broadcasts.
Some of the tapes used for transfers are damaged.
Some have clearer sound than others.
Some have a QTV logo, some don't.
The abscence of a QTV logo doesn't necessarily mean it's not from a QTV ''broadcast''.
