Anyone else noticed some differences in the mix of TSMGO during the end credits of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'?
One thing I noticed was Brians guitar a lot louder at 'Another hero...'
Second thing was the bass note at 'Empty spaces...' it came in HUGE! Very satisfying.
Last was a lot more punch in the drums just before the the chorus, like every hit was a full on snare drum instead of the sort of fade in thats on the normal version. Actually the whole drum sound was a lot more pronounced and awesome.
The edit of the song sucked but was understandable as the end credits only take so long.
Anyone else know more about this?
cheers!

The song was remixed for surround sound for the movie. I thought it was a great mix of the track, even though, like you said, the edit stinks.

Also it was an abridged version, cutting a chunk out of the song.

So for any of you interested. Here is a snippet of the audio of the end-credits coincidentally including The Show Must Go On (wink wink, nudge nudge)
There's even a renegade piece of unused vocals at 1:45 which clearly doesnt belong there.
It sounds as though the electronic drums have been removed (or dropped right back in the mix) so we are hearing Roger's acoustic kit far greater - sounds much better for it too. The bass guitar is also much clearer in this mix, which is lovely.
