Hi there, I was just listening to this and I suddenly heard 4 vocal parts at "Whatever came of you and me, America;s new bride to be"
about 1:52. I hear two parts above Freddie, and a lower paer doubling Roger at the 8ve. From the banter before and after, it seems that John's mike was definitely on. It even sounds like JD saying "we'll do some more soundchecking at 6:30"

What do people think?

By the way, Brian did loads of falsetto backing vocals in those days. On 'Seven Seas of Rhye', it was he and not Roger who sang the top part, except of course at the very end of the chorus, where they swapped.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Same for the screams in Ogre Battle - it's Brian on the highest voice.

Yeah. Very underrated falsetto.
