I've downloaded a couple of days ago the "expanded collection" done by CMI and I noticed that some of the tracks have bits and pieces of some 1st and 2nd generation working tapes
Does anybody here knows what are those? Are they available?

I mean, you're talking about CMI Expanded Collection, right. You're saying some tracks have bits from highest gen copies, ok.
Which kind of tracks have highest generations bits of what? I feel it's a little hard to get what you're saying.

Sure, for example in one of the CMI Tracks from the "Sheer Heart Attack" it says the following:
"IN THE LAP OF THE GODS...revisited (original ending)
Source taken from 1991 'Sheer Heart Attack' US CD remaster and 1st generation working tape."
This tracks ends with an alternate ending which, I think, comes from the working tape.
Don't where it came from but maybe there are more audios from those working tapes and that's where my question was aiming.
