As I was listening to the show, I noticed that during the intro, Freddie and Brian do something reminiscent of "Can You Feel It" by The Jacksons. Freddie sings the chorus line(doesn't follow the melody though)while Brian plays some ascending chords. The song wasn't released until the following year. Could Freddie, Brian, and Michael have discussed the song over the previous summer, or is it just a coincidence?

Coincidence, Doesn't sound anything like CYFI, just random riffing.
We love you Mandy!
Actually, 'Can You Feel It' was released in 1980 as part of The Jacksons' Triumph album, in september 1980, a couple of months before the Queen concert in Cologne.
Oh, I had just looked at the single's release date
