I came a cross to a this piece of information..

"I Want It All (Hollywood Records Album Version) 4:33
Written by Queen
Appears on: The Miracle Hollywood Remaster (1991)
Appearing only on the 1991 Hollywood Records remaster of The Miracle. At 1:14 into the track, the chorus that repeats the lyrics "I Want It All" is missing completely. Additionally, there are added backing vocals in the track. The first chorus has no backing vocals, lead vocal has more obvious multitracking, less prominent synth, more rhythm guitar, and lead guitar. There is no first chorus repeat. How did this mistake happen? Quite simply when Hollywood Records was remastering the album, Queen Productions provided the incorrect album master tape to Hollywood Records. The I Want It All mix that appears on the Hollywood release was added to the album master on March 15, 1989."

I tried on youtube and found the version on Amazon music (US), but was unable to purchase it.

Have any of you heard it and do you know if there is a place to hear it? Im very curious to take a listen to this version.

i went 15 years not realizing i was listening to the incorrect mix of In The Lap Of The Gods. I had the cassette and then the CD of the 1991 HR remaster not too long after they were released. It was only when i obtained a vinyl copy a few years before they released the 2011 remasters that i thought my vinyl copy was faulty! finally, when i heard the 2011 remasters - it became obvious. (note = i was about 7 yrs old 1991... so they day i got the HR copy was the first time i ever heard SHA)

It's Late wasn't a fuck up - it was an error in the first run of that CD. I heard it once when picking it up at a local library.. but was fixed when eventually purchased it a few year later.

I want It All is a totally different intro mix. as if they had considered releasing it, shelved it, and then accidentally included it in the HR release

Funny how our own personal copies influence our understanding of a track. The first ANATO I had was on vinyl and Sweet Lady had a strange brief WHIRRRR noise on one of the quiet bits. Couldn't believe it wasn't part of the recording when I got it on CD.

My first ANATO was the EMI cassette (with slightly different running order), which of course I thought sounded amazing in dual-mono. When I got the LP it sounded odd to me, especially some of the radical stereo and mad panning.

Ah yes the cassette track orders. Threw me several times with Queen and Bowie.

Well, for over 10 years or so listening to the Innuendo album on my Mexican CD I thought Bijou was this nice little track of a little over one minute in duration. It turned out my CD had been sourced from the wrong master, the same one used for the vinyl, which had a few songs edited and Bijou was the most notable edit. It wasn't until I got a dutch CD remaster in 2002 or 2003 that I heard the full Bijou.

From Justin Shirley-Smith via BrianMay.com, 2004:

I have made a close comparison between the different versions of I Want It All on the UK, HR and Capital releases of the Miracle album.

1st Chorus UK - No backing vocals - lead vocal double or triple tracked - synth more prominent - no lead Guitar
1st Chorus UK - REPEAT - with backing vocals and lead Guitar.

1st Chorus HR - No backing vocals - lead vocal with more obvious double or triple tracking and / or vocal FX - synth less prominent / more rhythm guitar - plus lead guitar.
1st Chorus HR - NO REPEAT!

This HR 1st chorus is not taken from another part of the song - it is a different mix to the UK version!

The version on the Capital Records Miracle CD is the same as the UK one.

Looking at our audio database, it appears that a new mix of IWIA was added to the Album Master on 15/3/1989 but there are various "Album Master" Tapes with earlier dates so I suppose Hollywood records must have chosen the wrong tape.

Haha, that can happen. Innuendo on LP sucks.

About 20 years ago I only had The Miracle on LP and when I got the original CD with the extra tracks I was really happy with the new content and higher audio quality (my turntable setup was not great anyway). But what took me by surprise was that "Was It All Worth It" has an actual and proper ending, compared to the LP version where it cuts abruptly during the last guitar bit, missing about 20 seconds. I always thought it was weird and it turned out I had the right feeling.
