Would Queens legacy be any different if The Miralce happened to be Queens last Album ?

The tone of the Album is alot less serious than Innuendo.

'Was It All Worth It' suggests they thought it might just be the last album.

Innuendo is amazing as their last album but The Miracle could have been fine too. I'm sure the thought definitely was in their minds as well, the hints within the album and out of it are too obvious.

As Innuendo is the last one, it would be a miracle when The Miracle would be the last one!

The Miracle, for me, was way too many electronic substitutes for the real deal. Drums and bass were substituted on too many songs for my liking.
Their backing vocals sound as if they just used what was on the demo for the real thing, resulting in very thin sounding backing vocals.
There are a few exceptions of course, but as a whole, I think I like it less than even A Kind of Magic.

We were later given the track "Innuendo", so be thankful "The Miracle" LP wasn't the last offering.
I will always remember buying the Innuendo single on the day of release.
The guy in the record store said a few short words, "This is a masterpiece".

Yup has the same touching lyrics as SMGO. I think Freddie did not expect to be around until 1991.

Innuendo had hardly any electornic drums and was way more organic back to basics than Miracle. The Mirace-Singles were awesome (plus WIAWI) but the rest was crap

The Miracle was very much an album of it's time in terms of production. I think overall it did not age as good as Inuendo, and it's missing the real big moments, apart from Was it all worth it.

If it would have been their last album, Was it all worth it would surley have the role the show must go on amog us fans, but I think that even Innuendo as last album with Freddie does not stand out to the general public or the casual fan.

That is because the general public is busy eating the crap Maylor have been serving for years. QAL/Greatest Hits packages and now the awful crap movie

Queens best work definitely doesn't always correlate to it's best sales . The mass publicity of Live Aid boosted AKOM, the death of Freddie created MIH. Both multi platinum compared to Innuendo, which is clearly closest to classic Queen

The Miracle would've been like 'he went out with a knowing joke - sooooo Freddie!'
Innuendo gave us a more emotional farewell which is the proper tone. Like Blackstar. A dense record full of clues.

That said, I do prefer The Miracle just for nostalgia reason, I'd all but left Queen by the time Innuendo came out. Not their fault.

The Miracle was a template for Innuendo. Innuendo was an improvement in my opinion.

Scandal... Innuendo
I want It all... Headlong
Miracle.... These Are The Days of Our Lives
Invisible Man... I can't Live With You
Rain Must Fall... Delilah
Breakthru.... Ride The Wild Wind
Was It all Worth It... The show Must go On

Miracle and Innuendo could have been a double album if the production of each didn't sound so different.

Side A
1. Innuendo
2. I'm Going Slightly Mad
3. I Want It All
4. The Miracle
5. Mother Love

Side B
1. Breakthru
2. Too Much Love Will Kill You
3. The Invisible Man
4. Don't Try So Hard
5. Ride The Wild Wind

Side C
1. These Are The Days Of Our Lives
2. I Can't Live With You
3. Scandal
4. Was It All Worth It
5. A Winter's Tale

Side D
1. All God's People
2. Hang On In There
3. You Don't Fool Me
4. Bijou
5. The Show Must Go On

I'm so happy there was still time for Innuedo.
In my opinion Innuendo is way better overall and also: the best tracks are some of Queen's finest.
Best Innuendo tracks:
Innuendo
I'm going slightly lad
These are the days of our lives
The show must go on
Nothing on The Miracle comes close, excpt for I want it all which is a very strong track.
on my way up
