Would look better on her if she gave even as little as 1% to the Mercury Phoenix Trust though...
Same goes for Brian, Roger and John for that matter. Do you REALLY need that extra 40 million? Might as well lend a huge helping hand to the foundation that fights against the disease that killed your bandmate.

What a load of rubbish - they state she'll simply get a straight 19% of all the film profits?!!!
Yes she'll get a lot of extra income from associated sales of official Queen/Freddie music and merchandise, but the film profits will be split other ways before the band get any residual royalties....the studio, the producers. and others that provided the finance guarantees will be the ones to reap the mighty rewards of their initial risk and outlay first.

You're absolutely right, I made an assumption I shouldn't have made. Let me rephrase it to: It would be a damn shame IF they didn't give anything from the film's profits the MPT.
