You said Freddie wore freaky clothes and linked to a pic of Freddie wearing shorts after posting this. Hmm.
What's the difference between Freddie and AL wearing shorts? There is no difference in case you need it pointed out to you.
Those Adam shorts look like regular work out guy shorts. Everyone who works out nowadays has some version of those. That could be my one son in that pic with those shorts on. Freddie's tighty whities were quite different! But weren't they part of the concert or video or something? People wear crazy stuff and I don't care a fig about that. The point is that Switched was going on about Adam's freaky stuff, but doesn't have a problem with the same kind of thing with Freddie. That was the point. Back to "Why is it OK if Freddie does the same thing, but when Adam does, he is nailed for it"? I find that odd myself. It either is wrong for both of them or neither of them. You can't have a double standard if you wish to be fair.

Well yes, Freddie wasn't the first or last to wear short shorts. Dang, I did when I was younger.
The part of the concert Queen Rock Montreal is Freddie wearing the short shorts. I think it bothers sweetcaroline somehow going by how much she brings it up, but has no issue about AL wearing shorts, even going as far as to try to prove AL is all man.
Both Freddie and AL wore some zany costumes and clothing at times. It's not me going for the tit for tat angle here. Unless Freddie and AL wore fur, leather, etc it doesn't bother me what they wore.
Truly, Icy I could care less about shorts or no shorts. But for some people.... One pic is where Adam is working out and those would be the appropriate workout shorts and one is kind of out there. It all goes back to criticizing Adam for his freaky clothes (which Switched brought up again today) and yet, no comments about Freddie's freaky outfits. For me, they are all COSTUMES and they are all entertainers, so they can wear weird stuff. I find it amusing and goes along with the entertainment factor. But don't bring up Adam's outfits (which are not nearly that out there) and ignore what Freddie and the band wore. I did enjoy those pics she found. Some of them were hilarious!! Personally I love leather on a rock singer - part of the rock stereotype!!

Shorts aren't the least bit freaky. Onstage or off, celebrities and others have been wearing shorts for years. Basically what sweetcaroline is doing here is tit for tat, it's alright for AL to wear shorts and link to a pic of AL wearing them, and then to say Freddie wearing shorts was "freaky". That's double standards right there, hypocritical really.
I'm against wearing fur and leather. I haven't wore fur ever, and haven't worn leather in years. That's my personal choice. I hate to see anyone wear fur, leather etc. Yes, I know Freddie wore it too before anyone starts ;-).
Freddie had some crazy fashion sense, very creative. All in good fun, but he could rock a suit too. AL will get attention for what he wears especially when singing Queen songs, as did Freddie, pro, con and in between. Put it this way, I'm not clutching my pearls about Freddie or AL wearing shorts.
You have it turned around. Caroline is showing the outfits of Freddie only to point out that Adam shouldn't catch crap because Freddie did things that were no different. I doubt she cares what he wore, but so many Queen fans on here point to Adam's "freaky" clothes and neglect to remember that Freddie was wearing really freaky stuff, especially back in the day. Otherwise I doubt she would mention that stuff. It is a case of what is good for the goose, is good for the gander. You can't give Freddie a pass for "freakiness" in his on stage costumes, but then call Adam freaky because of what he wears. TBH Adam't clothes are not particularly out there. This is really a dumb topic. Who cares what they wear while they are on stage? As long as they are wearing something, I am find with it.

No turning things around at all. If she didn't have any issues with Freddie wearing white shorts, why bring it up so often, the way she does? She said it was freaky while linking to a pic of Freddie wearing shorts just hours ago...and after she linked to AL wearing shorts not long ago in this thread. If that's not hypocritical, then I don't know what is. Tit for tat for her as well obviously.
She has often griped about what Freddie wore as a way to make AL seem better. Does she forget she's on a Queen board sometimes? I think she does. She posted a while back Freddie had no fashion sense compared to AL, so yes something must be bugging her about what Freddie wore. She acts absolutely offended or insulted by what he wore. It's okay for AL to wear shorts, but then to act so offended by what Freddie wore. I wish she could explain herself.
I don't like everything Freddie wore, but one wouldn't know it if Freddie wore outrageous costumes 24/7 or walked around naked 24/7 by the way sweetcaroline acts and posts about the shorts, onesies and ballet slippers. He wore much more than just crazy outfits, he changed his looks and appreance more than once, after all. Freddie never was stuck in a rut with one way to do things. He evolved just as much as Bowie and Elton John did.
The extreme vulgarity and homophobia on this website appalls me.
