Just reminded me how frustrating the filming of Hammersmith is.
That version of White Queen is musically probably the best ever filmed, but various close ups of Freddie mean that while Roger and John are demonstrating how well they used to underpin everything and Brian playing that solo so brilliantly is all visually lost.
Still it was miles better than the early to mid 70's fashion of showing facial close ups and very little else!

Absolutely agree with your statement on White Queen. A fantastic version (I wish they had recorded the album version this way with the guitar) but yeah, the camera just stayed on Freddie on piano during the solo. This sound to me is classic Queen, drums, bass, piano and guitar but you can't see them all playing. Such a shame.

Same with Live at the Bowl - Brian plays the piano but isn't filmed at all during that.

The Circle of Eidolon believes the piano that has been spoken of is the piano that Freddie Mercury played stage right at Queen shows.
The answer to the question you have raised is Freddie Mercury's Steinway.
Learn from this.

What? You've never noticed a piano on stage at a Queen gig, we are talking about the same band. . . . Or am I missing something

They can't make new transfers, yet they dig through their archive for the Let Me In Your Heart Again on YouTube.

And even if they released a whole bunch of complete concerts, people would be whining that they haven't released any unheard songs from their studio sessions.

Ignore this moron, he or she's not a Queen fan, just a lifeless troll.
